Wedding at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay | Cassie + Jose
Happy June! It’s officially summertime and we at Photography by Santy Martinez our gearing up for our first destination wedding of the year along with some added fun in the sun. We are grateful that we have had the opportunity to shoot some pretty incredible weddings in 2019 thus far, and the year is not even half over! One of those incredible weddings took place at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Resort and we can’t be more thrilled to share it on the blog today.
Cassie and Jose not only had a wedding, it was a full out party! From start to finish, these two just know how to have fun. It’s obvious that they also surround themselves with loved ones with the same mindset as there wasn’t a moment in their day that did not involve smiles and laughter.
The party definitely started with the girls getting ready and getting dolled up by the talented Style Me Elvi. We loved the bride’s and bridesmaid’s personalized jean jackets! Getting Cassie in her dress was an extra special moment for us to capture, you see, it wasn’t too long ago that we also captured her sister’s wedding! Being able to recreate the same photos with the roles reversed was truly sweet. Being treated like family on this day was even sweeter! Another sweet moment was when Cassie revealed her stunning bridal look to her best girls. We think you will agree, their reactions were simply priceless!
The party did not stop as the day led into a beautiful wedding ceremony where Jose finally got to see his gorgeous bride walk down the aisle. Surrounded by friends and family, the two exchanged their touching vows and made the marriage official. As guests cheered and made it to cocktail hour, we snuck the newlyweds to the rooftop for some portraits with the Miami skyline as their backdrop.
Back inside, Cassie and Jose got to see their vision unfold as they took in their reception ballroom prior to guests entering the room. We always recommend our couples to do this as it is a perfect opportunity to have a little private moment while taking it all in. It wasn’t long before their family and friends took their seats as they prepared to eat, drink, dance, and DANCE! Needless to say, Santy and I had a blast capturing this fun crowd both on the dance floor and at our open air photo booth! Such a cool way to get extra pics of friends and family having a good time and acting silly. Overall, it is fair to say that everyone had an amazing time celebrating the union of Cassie and Jose!
