QUINCES PHOTO SESSION AT WALT DISNEY WORLD - QUINCEAÑERA - GABRIELLA
If you know us or follow us on Instagram, you know that we enjoy a trip or two to the happiest place on Earth. We love visiting Walt Disney World so much that we even joined the Disney Vacation Club a few years back so that we could really take advantage of our visits by staying on property. If we are not capturing other people’s happy moments, there is a good chance we are creating our own memories at Disney World!
This time of year is always busy for us at Photography by Santy Martinez and this wedding season has been no different. With back to back wedding weekends, three of which were destination weddings, it has been hard for us to sneak a trip up to Orlando to visit our good pal Mickey! We love photography and we love Disney - so today’s blog highlights one of the times when both of those worlds collided!
Although many know us as wedding photographers from Photography by Santy Martinez, we do also provide all types of photography services. Often times we are contacted by former clients or word of mouth for sessions other than weddings. These include - family portraits, maternity sessions, children and newborn photography. This particular session, we were contacted via word of mouth by the mother of this beautiful Quinceañerato inquire whether we would do her daughter’s session at Disney World. We of course said yes and were really excited about it despite knowing the challenges we would face at one of the busiest destinations in the world. With proper planning and the knowledge that we have of the Walt Disney Wold parks and resorts, we were able to deliver not only beautiful images of the Quinceañera but also an amazing experience.
Saying that Gabriella loves Disney is an understatement. Her family have been enjoying the perks of being Disney Vacation Club members since she was just a little girl. That being said, it is not surprising that she chose to be a princess for the day to celebrate her fifteenth birthday/quinces. The day of the shoot commenced at the Magic Kingdom followed by visiting two of her favorite resorts -Disney’s Saratoga Springs and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. We were so happy to have been there to help her dream become a reality!
